Ten Tips to Better Writing

  1. There is no bad first draft. Don’t be afraid to start, just start. You can fix it later.
  2. Fix your spelling and grammar, yes, these things are boring, but important.
  3. Create a vibrant opening. Your first paragraph sets the tone and makes the reader want to go on.
  4. Don’t worry too much-writing is subjective. You can’t please all of the people all the time, don’t even try.
  5. Playing on the Internet is just keeping you away what you need to do.
  6. Use proper format.
  7. Use proper tense.
  8. Use the comma correctly.
  9. Rewrite. Writing is rewriting. The first draft is about playing and trying things out.
  10. Create a dynamic ending. Do not simply restate your beginning. You need to give a concluding element that is fresh.
